As the world of data visualization changes and the demands for features to the end-users allowing them to use visualisation methods such as dashboards and pivots allowing them to slice and dice runtime. Are there anything in the telerik roadmap which allows for this kind of product component? I see that competitors such as ComponentOne has Active analytics and Devexpress has dashboraddesigner and dashboardviwer as components in their toolbox. If anyone else are seeking the same oppertunity in the Telerik toolbox please feel free to comment. Thanks for providing great tools for the developers of the world.
Hi guys, we have once again reviewed this request and we came to the conclusion that this request is more suitable for another product of ours called Telerik Reporting (http://www.telerik.com/campaigns/reporting/interactive-reporting.aspx), hence we will decline this request in our portal. I would kindly ask you, to create a request for such a functionality on the following feedback portal - http://feedback.telerik.com/Project/162 (this is the portal for Telerik Reporting), which by the way is brand new, hence there are not so many items in it. Furthermore, currently Telerik Reporting support something similar called "Standalone report designer". Here are some links you can find useful regarding this matter: - Product page: http://www.telerik.com/products/reporting/creating-reports.aspx - Demo page: http://demos.telerik.com/reporting/sales-dashboard/html5demo.aspx - Documentation: http://www.telerik.com/help/reporting/standalone-report-designer.html I hope that you find this useful.
Hello Telerik team, My current company purchased Devexpress. But the company I am joining purchased yours. Both of the companies are into BI products. To say about Dashboarddesigner component from devexpress, I used it and its really awesome. We have developed a comprehensive BI Tool using Devexpress DashboardDesigner and other components. If not DashboardDesigner we could have very well used its data visualization controls and completed it. But, using DashboardDesigner we easily saved 30 days of development time which really matters. This is what people look into, when we purchase 3rd party components. I know you have all the required components built, but a DashboardDesigner can bring a significant difference. (Saved 30 days in our case). I really appreciate Telerik for the well built components. But I demand your team to look int the possibility of developing a dashboarddesigner from your end as well, so that we need not rethink about changing.
Hi Allen, Thank you for your request. So far we do not have such a component on our road map, still if there is demand for such in future we will consider its implementation.
