ADD. RadCalendar - add support for Persian (shamsi) calendar

Presently RadCalendar does not support Persian calendar style.

persian calendar is already added back in 2015. See the status of the item on the right hand side.

Hi,

if you are using Windows version lower than Windows 10, there is a known issue in the .NET Framework considering the "fa-IR" culture. Please refer to the following MSDN resource for a solution: Fixing Persian Locale for Persian Calendar and Month Names: https://code.msdn.microsoft.com/Fixing-Persian-Locale-for-6e66e044

Hey,Thanks for respond! 
However,this feature is not functioning properly .
when i set culture to "Fa-IR" its only change the language to persian !
not to Hejri-Shamsi calendar !
Its just a translation of default culture to Farsi language .

Hi Mehrad,

You can just set the control's Culture property, to the desired culture, and the calendar should be updated automatically. Here is an article on the matter: http://www.telerik.com/help/winforms/calendar-localization-cultureinfo-and-regioninfo-basics.html

Please let us know of your thoughts about this functionality.

Hey there,You said that you have already added Shamsi calendar to date picker !
however,please provide a tutorial on how to use that in win forms !

Persian calendar is already added in the WinForms suite. For UI for WPF, please refer to the following portal: http://feedback.telerik.com/Project/143
