It will be a great addition of RadPdfViewer if it supports forms/controls.
We will introduce an improvement with R1 2017. RadPdfViewer will be able to visualized the submitted user data in form fields.
Thank you for your input Lee.
This is a pretty basic feature of a lot of pdf files. Ss previously mentioned it is part of free libraries available. I also don't need the user to edit the fields, but just displaying them in the viewer would be ideal and would be better than nothing at all.
Thanks for the hint. We are currently researching possibilities to implement form fields, but we plan to start by adding the feature to RadPdfProcessing (i.e. we won't implement UI initially). We still cannot commit to specific time frame, though. Any comments on how this plan fits with your requirements are welcomed.
Your losing out to itext, which is free. Form fields is pretty basic pdf function.
I have found that if you flatten the form fields you can render/print a filled document.
This is much needed feature. Currently my biggest requirement is to render/print PDF documents that have form fields. Don't necessarily need ability to fill out the forms, though it would be great if we could; however the ability to render/print a document in which the fields have already been populated with data.
