Cursive signature needed

The signature component is very usable with all the necessary functions to be easily integrated into a web application, but the signature itself is slightly jerky (not very cursive as you can see in the below image).

I compared how the signature is drawn in the canvas using other javascript plugins that offer the possibility to enter a digital signature in a web application like jSignature (https://www.jqueryscript.net/other/Signature-Field-Plugin-jQuery-jSignature.html) and jQuery sign.js (https://www.jqueryscript.net/other/Canvas-Signature-Pad-Sign.html) vs signature component from Kendo UI for jQuery.

The first two create the sensation of fluidity as opposed to the jerky movement in the Kendo UI component.

Best regards,
Mugurel

Hello Nikolay,

Being directly interested, I really appreciate it if my feedback helps enhance the Kendo UI Signature component in particular and the Kendo UI framework in general.

Best regards,
Mugurel

Hi Mugurel,

Thank you for the feedback.

If you allow I will convert this to a future enhancement so the Kendo UI Signature component can be revised in the future.

Using the smooth parameter is not a viable option because the smooth transformation is done after the signature drawing is finished.

Also, without the smooth parameter, the signature appears as a path of well-defined lines (nothing curved).

On the other hand, drawing the signature is slow. The smooth effect is applied at the end of the signature drawing.
