Kendo spreadsheet bug when sheet has 1 row and validation

Hi,

I seem to have unearthed a bug in the Kendo spreadsheet control. When the spreadsheet has only 1 row and there is column validation somewhere on the sheet, if I then edit a cell (without validation), 8 rows are created.

See the following Dojo

Steps to reproduce.

1. Run the Dojo

2. Edit the UnitPrice cell to, say 20

3. Save changes

4. Observe in the browser console (F12) 8 rows created.

Expected results are 0 rows created and 1 updated

Hi Martin, 

I have downloaded the June version but I am getting a compile error:

"Can't have 'break' outside of loop: break e"

Seems this has happened before MVC bundling / minification broken in Kendo UI for jQuery | Telerik Forums

 

This happens in file kendo.all.min.js.

 

I have fixed this myself by unminifying the js. Removing the offending line and re-minifying. This is more of a heads up

Hi Martin, any update on when the new release will be? I can see from the Downloads sections the latest release is 10 May.

Hello, Ian,

The bug will be available in the next release in mid June. Depending on how you are referencing Kendo, you will need to either replace the files locally or change the cdn versions.
