Insert Row does not keep format and adjust formulas

Dear Concerned,

1. open https://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/spreadsheet/index

2. select row header of row 10, go to Insert tab

3. click insert row below, it inserts row successfully after row 10, it adjust formulas of row 12, and other rows there after which is good.

4. But issue is - it neither keep format of row 10 in new row & nor it add formulas to various columns in new row(e.g. F11, E11)

Please suggest how can we achieve it, it is very common and useful feature which excel have. if you do not have any ready solution then please suggest workaround for the same as it is urgent for my client.

Hello Naveen,

Thank you for the detailed description of the case.

Unfortunately, the default format/styling of the newly inserted row is not available in the Spreadsheet widget. Having that said, I am converting the current thread to feature request in our Feedback portal. Here is where you could track the request status:

Do not forget to cast your vote for it.

As per the arrow observed, it will be present when the user tries to insert a new row, while the last row in the sheet has some data/validation/formatting applied. As the count of rows in the widget is a fixed number, inserting a new row in such a case would not be possible. Also, there is the following bug upon export/import, which also results in the same warning:

Also I get following error no of times (not consistently), not sure why , it restrict me adding a row

Cannot insert cells due to data loss possibility. Select another insert location or delete the data from the end of your worksheet.
