Hi,
The thread is now public and I have added some Telerik points to your account.
I have also opened a GitHub issue in case you prefer to follow it there:

Hello,
Sure it can be made public.
Hello,
Thank you very much for sharing the steps that lead to wrong data being shown in the PivotGrid.
I can confirm that this behaviour is not as expected and we can log a bug in our repository. Would you mind if convert this thread to a public one so people can upvote it - this way, the popularity can expedite a feature or a bug into development.
If you prefer not to make this thread public, then do let me know and I will create a new one on your behalf.
Look forward to hearing back from you and I am sorry if this has caused you any inconvenience. On a more positive note, we are looking into making a lot of improvements to the PivotGrid this year.
Kind Regards,
Alex Hajigeorgieva

Hello,
I've tried it again and seems it requires specific order of events to replicate.
I will try to describe those steps here and post screenshots
Steps:
1. Expand <ALL PPRODUCTS> under <CY 2006>
2. Collapse this column
3. Add <Department> field to rows
4. Expand <Corporate> in rows
5. Expand <All Geographies>
6. Expand <Corporate> at <Arlington>
Hello,
I wanted to demonstrate these same settings in the Dojo and the screenshots I shared with you in my previous response.
This time I recorded this video for you and you can let me know if you see anything incorrect with it that I might have missed:

Hello,
This is actually the example from Telerik guide.
https://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/pivotgrid/index
You just need to add Department dimension to rows end expand like on screenshot.
Hi,
It appears that you are using the Office 365 theme in the screenshot and I am not sure how this look occurred so I would be grateful if you share some insight.
With this configuration of the Kendo UI PivotGrid also visible in the provided screenshot in the ticket:
columns: [{ name: "[Date].[Calendar]", expand: true }, { name: "[Product].[Category]" } ],
rows: [{ name: "[Geography].[City]" , expand:true},{ name: "[Department].[Departments]" }],
Here is the result with the default SASS theme http://dojo.telerik.com/@bubblemaster/iBAZADOF
And the same with the Office 365
https://dojo.telerik.com/@bubblemaster/UReNeRat
Would it be possible for you to provide additional information what we should do to reproduce the behaviour you see as faulty?
Look forward to hearing back from you.
Kind Regards,
Alex Hajigeorgieva
