Scroll jumps when pasting long text in editor in safari

1. use safari browser

2. Go to https://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/editor/index

3.  copy a long text over 25 characters

4. paste the copied text in the editor

5. notice that the scroll takes you to the bottom of the page, The same is not noticed in any other browser.

6. This is very inconvenient.

Hi Virendra,

I am not able to replicate this in Chrome 141.0.7390.108 and Firefox 144.0 and Kendo UI 2024.3.806. 

Can you observe this in newer Kendo UI versions, such as 2025.3.1002?

  • If not, I recommend upgrading. We cannot fix bugs that are not replicable in the latest version.
  • If yes, please share a Dojo where the problem is replicated and the browser used so I can investigate

I am having the same issue with Kendo Rich Text Editor version mentioned below in almost all browsers i have implemented Kedo Editor using JQuery.

Hi Jitender,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. I have included the bug in question to our backlog. Note that at this stage I won't be able to offer you a viable workaround for the above. Therefore, I would recommend you to keep tracking the issue here and update the Kendo version as soon as the fix has been released.
