Add Sorting to Kendo UI PivotGrid

You really need to add sorting to your Kendo UI pivotgrid for flat/local data sources.  The entire point of a pivot grid is to analyze data.  We did a POC with it for our salesmen.  The feedback was:  "It's almost useless if I can't sort it and see my top and bottom sellers, etc...".    So, we're swapping out the pivotgrid for Infragistics Ignite UI.  It's a shame too, cause most everything else is there.

Hello,

I am pleased to let you know that we have implemented sorting by the row header and column header values. Meaning that when sorting is applied for a field the headers will reflect that sorting and will re-arrange the table.

On a side note, there is another feature request that clients want to sort by the already aggregated values. This however is a separate feature which needs design and will be implemented at a later stage.

Just found out that they added the sorting ability for binding Ajax data in their latest release 2020.3.1021. Worth a try if you are using Ajax data binding.

Agreed. Been looking everywhere for a sorting solution when binding Ajax data, and finally find out Kendo doesn't support it.

We also need it for MVC Html.Kendo().PivotGrid using Ajax datasource. This is a critical functionality that we need. Can Telerik support speed it up and make it available ASAP please?
