.Import on large pdf files (> 1000 ko) with an Telerik.Windows.Documents.Fixed.FormatProviders.Pdf.PdfFormatProvider object.

An error occur when i used .Import method on large .pdf files (> 1000 ko) with an Telerik.Windows.Documents.Fixed.FormatProviders.Pdf.PdfFormatProvider object.

 

Message is:

"Impossible d'effectuer un cast d'un objet de type 'Telerik.Windows.Documents.Fixed.FormatProviders.Pdf.Model.Types.PdfDictionary' en type 'Telerik.Windows.Documents.Fixed.FormatProviders.Pdf.Model.Types.PdfInt'." 

There is no bug for smaller pdf files.

Feel free to continue the communication in the thread regarding the RadPdfProcessing library in case you are not using RadPdfViewer. Thus, the appropriate support engineers would gladly assist you and find an appropriate solution.

We kindly ask you to use just one thread for a specific problem to contact us. Posting the same questions numerous times slows down our response time because we will need to review and address two or more tickets instead of one. Moreover, threads are handled according to license and time of posting, so if it is an urgent problem, we suggest you use a support ticket, which would be handled before a forum thread.

Sorry, your email was in the spam folder.  
 
I recovered by logging into my official account, at the address ggingras@novaxis.net 
 
I was told that it is a bug.  Advising me to bypass it using qpdf before trying the Import.  
 
The error occurs in Visual Basic, when I want to get a RadFixedDocument object with the Import method of a Telerik.Windows.Documents.Fixed.FormatProviders.Pdf.PdfFormatProvider object.
 
I was not using a viewer.  I need to obtain a RadFixedDocument to convert it in text file after.

The provided PDF file is greatly appreciated.

I have tested importing the file in our Demo application and it seems to be loaded as expected in the latest official version. Please refer to the attached gif file illustrating the behavior on my end. Am I missing something? Could you please specify the exact steps how to reproduce the problem or get back to me with a sample project so I can investigate the precise case?
