Getting an aria-hidden error in the console

Hi,

We are facing issue on every popup and context menu open. aria-hidden property has been set to true by default while rendering the control.

Blocked aria-hidden on an element because the element that just received focus must not be hidden from assistive technology users. Avoid using aria-hidden on a focused element or its ancestor.

Could you please take a look and let me know if I am missing something in the performed steps for replicating the issue. I tried to replicate the issue following the scenario you have described in your reply. However, the issue does not reproduce on my end. Could you please take a look at the Dojo example linked below and let me know if I am missing something? I tested with both - Window and Dialog components.

Could you please confirm which is the Kendo version used on your side?

We are getting this error when 2 dialog boxes are open one over another, Issue occurs on every button click. Our dialog box get open on context menu option click. Second Dialog box get open when a button has been pressed on first dialog box. On second dialog box if we click on any button or icon, aria-hidden error shows on console. And parent dialog box has aria-hidden attribute as true. I try to blur first dialog when second opens but this solution also didn't work.  We are using aurelia kendo dialog boxes.

Hi Dan,

The linked issue from GitHub related to the error in the Grid has been resolved and the fix is available with the latest 2024 Q4 release 2024.4.1112. I would suggest upgrading the version used on your side and testing the behavior.

Regarding the issue in the Grid, I would also suggest upgrading and checking if the issue is resolved. However, regarding such errors in Window or Dialog, could you please provide more details about how the issue can be replicated? I tested the behavior in our demos and I did not observe any 'Blocked aria-hidden' errors. In order to be able to help or to confirm if there is a bug on our side we need to first replicate the issue and investigate. Thus, I would appreciate it if you could send us more details on the matter.

I am facing the same problem with grid filter menu, but I did not understand at the GitHub issue if the problem was solved.

Hello Brijendra,

Could you please confirm if the report is related to the Grid component or when using the Kendo Dialog/Window? We have such a bug logged regarding the Grid. Could you please take a look at the issue below and let me know if your scenario is as the descibed in the item?

In case the scenario is different please provide more details on the used component and the steps needed to reproduce the behavior.
