We have tested the behavior also in the Debian 11.7 machine on Chrome Version 113.0.5672.126 (Official Build), however, the issue is still not replicated. 

• Could you please test the behavior on a different machine and confirm if the issue is replicated? For example, is the issue replicated if you test on Windows?

• As on the sent gif I see that the mouse is not positioned on the DropDownList, but below the component, I would like to ask you to send us details on the performed steps. For example, after you open the page with the rendered DropDownList do you click on the DropDownList to focus it?

I tested on multiple machines, but still, the issue is not replicated on our side. As far as I see you replicate the issue in the API examples for the select event of the DropDownList:

Could you please describe in detail after you open the page, and click on the 'Preview' button of the example what is the next step/click you perform? 

Also, does the issue occur in all the browsers? As you marked 'Operating Sytem' - Linux in the Ticket Info, could you please confirm what is the behavior on your side if you try on a Windows machine?

I would appreciate any details that you send us as this could be helpful to replicate the behavior on our end and pin down the cause of the problem.

Hi,

Could you please provide more details regarding how the issue can be replicated? Also please confirm if the issue occurs in our demos. I tried to replicate the issue, but to no avail. As you can see in the screencast linked below, the select event is not fired when clicking the middle mouse button.
