Cell value selection should scroll down allowing user to select more cells

Hi,

Currently the Selection & Export functionality does not automatically scroll down/up the Grid when the user tries to select cells that fall out of the view. Would be great if we have an option to allow automatic scroll and provide ability to choose additional cells (as in excel). Additional details are in 1576704.

We are extensively using this selection feature and the above mentioned behavior would save lot of our time and add value to the functionality.

Hello Rajpradeep,

Thank you for adding your voice to this feedback item, your upvote helps increase the demand for this feature. Higher demand increases an item's priority, but it's not the only thing that goes into feature planning (e.g., general usefulness, backlog demand, etc.).

I do not have any specific news to share at this time. You will be immediately notified of any changes to the status of this item if you are following this item. This notification features is useful because you do not need to wonder what the status is or ask if it has been implemented, you'll get an email when we change it to other statuses (e.g., In Development, Complete)

In the meantime, I will share with the public community what the developers shared with you for the temporary solution:

The current Selection option does not allow automatic scrolling down when selecting. What the user needs to do is select the desired rows/cell from the current view then scroll down and select more rows/cells by holding the CTR key. For now, I will need to leave the status to Under Review. That will get changed as the team reviews it to make a determination.
