Value is not displayed after merging formula cells in Spreadsheet

Bug report

Cell value is not displayed after setting a formula for a range and creating a merged cell in the Spreadsheet.

Reproduction of the problem

  1. Open this Dojo example - https://dojo.telerik.com/UwexICot/4

Current behavior

The value of the B1:B2 merged cell is not displayed.

Expected/desired behavior

The value of the B1:B2 merged cell should be displayed.

Environment

  • Kendo UI version: 2022.1.119
  • Browser: [all]

Hi Dennis,

We have investigated the issue further and my colleague explained in the corresponding GitHub issue that "When using the API, you should do it in a batch to trigger a recalculation, like this: https://dojo.telerik.com/UwexICot/6 ". So the Dojo snippet should use the batch method of sheet.

Still my colleague found a related issue when performing merge manually and we have fixed this issue.
