NumericTextBox Exponential Data Entry

Please consider supporting entry of values in exponential notation (with 'e' or 'E') so that the behaviour is similar to a native <input type="number> element.

Kendo formatters allow display in scientific notation, but prevents data input in this form.

Hello,

This seems like a valid request. Since the numeric holds its value as a number when extracting the value it should be the numeric representation of the notation. The only problem that I see is when a numeric is included in a form and it gets posted, probably there the developers will need to handle things manually and convert the value if needed.
