Dear All,

It would be very nice if you could provide a way to paste Excel cells with at least formatted text, cell background and border formatting in order to make the pasted content at least roughly look like the Excel table.

This is all the more important as there is currently no performant way to select and subsequently format table cells in the Kendo editor (see our request for making it possible to select a group of cells across several columns and rows like in Excel -> Please also have a look at the TinyMCE editor).

Even though we have already implemented a workaround by use of the native paste event content in the meanwhile, it would be great to see that functionality out of the box in one of your next releases.
