Hi Karl,

Thank you for your report. This has been already reported and logged in our public GitHub repo here: https://github.com/telerik/kendo-ui-core/issues/6189. 

I have also converted this to a bug report so that it is visible in the feedback portal and tracked from here. 

I am afraid currently there is no possible workaround as the method throwing the error is scoped in the Drawing API.
