Timeline display title or other field below date in timeline label

We would like to have this below 2 features included in timeline. It will be really handy.

1. Option to have display more field with date in label of timeline

2. Having multiple event visible for horizontal timeline similar to it comes in vertical timeline kendo ui jquery demo for timeline

I have reopened this item and I recommend casting your vote for it by clicking on the Vote button in the right upper corner of the page. 

In general, the items that gain lots of popularity get included in the RoadMap for future implementation.

Hi Jaime, that would be really good.  For our application, seeing the full timeline as it currently displays is great for a summary but for a user to then be able to either hover over or click and event to see a larger display of data like in your example would work perfectly.  So in that case each click of an event would show the extra data for that event.

 You could also have a mode where the expanded view (as per your example) is the default view and all events are loaded with their extra information visible and expanded.

Here is a concept of what we had in mind. Ability to add images, short description and date. able to expand item to more info like in vertical view would be great, but not a must.

Hello,

The Horizontal mode of the timeline was designed to suite the use case when only the selected item should be visible at a time. 

The Vertical mode is intended to be used when multiple items should be visible.

If there is another use case that you have please share details for it.

Hello Brian,

Thank you for the feedback.

It would be very useful if you could share more details about those features you would like to see implemented in the Timeline.

1. Do you want to be able to customize the Date part on the Timeline? If this is so there is already a request submitted:

2. Do you need the event information to appear on both sides of the Timeline when Vertical mode is selected? Currently, it is available only at the bottom of the line.

Any additional information will help us better understand the requirement and allow us to determine what can be done in a particular scenario.
