FileManager: no path passed to dataSource read method

Run sample at https://dojo.telerik.com/@GaloisGirl/OJUPoYOY and check JavaScript log.

  • Actual result: the second call to "read" has empty data, and a second copy of the folder "folder" is shown in the tree.
  • Expected result: the second call to "read" should have a path passed.

Hi,

No path passed to dataSource create method as well (Reported in ticket: 1497019):
**Steps to Replicate:**

1. Run the sample https://dojo.telerik.com/@GaloisGirl/OJUPoYOY/8
2. Navigate to "folder1"
3. Click "New Folder"
4. Check JavaScript log

**Actual result**: the call to "create" has no information that the new folder should be created in "folder 1"
**Expected result**: the call to "create" should contain information about the path, for my back-end to create an entry in the correct place

I understand your priorities, but I'd still appreciate filing it on GitHub since as you said, it's a legit bug.

I've also managed to hack a workaround: https://dojo.telerik.com/@GaloisGirl/OJUPoYOY/2

Thank you for reporting the issue.

The described behavior is a valid bug. We cannot provide a workaround for it. I also can't say exactly when it will be fixed. It all depends on the impact the issue has over the community and our priority queue.

I've updated your Telerik points as a sign of gratitude for reporting the bug.

Let me know if you have any additional questions related to the current thread.
