Hi,
message list is not scrolled down when attachments are rendered (see dojo). I'm pretty sure it should scroll the same way it does when rendering messages.

Thank you for the report.The issue was reproducible with Kendo UI 2020.1.114 and the legacy renderAttachments() API. The Chat component has since been redesigned, and attachments are now supplied as part of the message data through the Chat DataSource or methods such as postMessage().
We verified the scenario with the latest version. The Chat message list now scrolls correctly after rendering attachment messages, including messages added programmatically through the DataSource. Calling scrollToBottom() explicitly is not required.
As the reported behavior is resolved in the current release and the original API is no longer part of the current Chat component, we are closing this item.

Scrolling to the last attachment hasn't been implemented in the Chat yet. I've converted this bug report item into a feature request and made it visible in our Feedback Portal, which would allow voting for it.
Based on the community's interest in this feature we will consider implementing it in a future release.
