In Internet Explorer, when pressing Alt+Enter for new line, Spreadsheet moves cursor incorrectly after 2nd or 3rd Alt+Enter

This is observed also in online demos:

Steps:

  1. Open demo
  2. Edit a cell and enter text
  3. Press Alt+Enter and enter more text
  4. Press Alt+Enter

    Result: the last letter of the row is transferred to the new row

Hi KhalilMusleh,

Thank you for your reporting. The demonstrated behavior is a known issue which GitHub thread could be seen on this link: https://github.com/telerik/kendo-ui-core/issues/1872.

I've raised the priority of the linked issue. I cannot say if and when a fix for it will be released. It all depends on the impact the issue has and our priority queue. The higher the priority of the GitHub Issue is, the bigger the chance for the bug's sooner fix is. What you can do is to follow the current thread and once there is a change in its status, you will be notified about it.
