With Vue.js integration started but not complete, I'd like to see the plan for rolling out the integration until it has parity with the existing packages like jQuery & Angular. I'd also like information about any public beta versions so that I can plan for controls as they appear. I have a possible long term upcoming project that I'd like to consider using these controls in, but without visibility into the progress it will be hard to justify using this package.
Great news, that's the information I'm looking for, thanks. Looking forward to the roadmap & glad to read that the timeline is targeting January and not June.
Sorry for the lack of transparency here initially, we're just about to update our roadmap page to explain the timeline better. Right now we are looking at covering the full jQuery suite with our Vue.js wrappers by R1 2018 (January). The regular disclaimer on our roadmap applies here of course, but if any are missed we will release them as soon as possible thanks to the fact that they're being rolled out as npm packages. We are releasing packages as we can. As an example, we just released the Chart wrappers last week and they can be used already. Unlike the jQuery edition that has the R1, R2, R3 releases we can roll out packages as they're ready, which eliminates the need for an official beta program. We're letting everyone take advantage of new components as soon as we can. If you'd like to discuss this in even more detail to ensure that your project can take advantage of these components feel free to reach out to me directly at bergenhem@progress.com.
