It would be great if Kendo Diagram has expand/collapse feature and the expand feature brings the data on demand
Expand/Collapse feature on click of the diagram nodes. 
Load data on demand during enpansion of the node.

Hello Sami,

Currently, the status of the item is still 'Unplanned' which means that it is not planned for implementation, yet. However, as indeed there is demand for such functionality I have brought the issue to the attention of our manager. I encourage you to follow the item in order to be automatically notified when its status is changed. As soon as we move a task to the short-term backlog, the status will change to "Planned" and most likely a release number will appear as well.

As of R2 2023, the default icon type will be SVG instead of Font. See this blogpost for more information.
