Images resizable inside editor Widget

The images inside the editor Widget are resizable only when using Firefox. It would be great if the resize option for images is also available for other "big" browsers like Chrome, Safari and IE. I'm aware of the thread that says that only Firefox supports image resizing by default. This could be implemented independent of supporting it by browsers. Many other (opensource) editors like tinymce support that feature by default, that could be implement by Javascript instead of waiting for other browsers supporting it.

Hey everyone!

Just to update this item, as you can tell by the item's tags this specific feature was released with R2 2021! To see this in action you can head over to the Kendo UI for jQuery Editor demo and click on the image displayed within the content of the overview demo. You will see the resize handles appear and they will let you resize images quickly and intuitively.

The feature is not included in the roadmap for the next release, but we keep monitoring the interest shown towards it. Keep tracking the status of the thread to stay informed if the feature's development has started.

Unfortunately we could not fit this feature in the last Kendo version.

We haven't yet planned the roadmap for the next release. Once it has been done, I will post back in this thread if we could schedule the feature for the next release.

I need image resizing to work in Chrome!!

I need this desperately. It is time to get this accomplished. My users cannot believe this basic function is not available to them. The snip multitudes of images that need to be resized before saving. This project is going to fall flat without this.
