Kendo Pivotgrid - need Filters in Filter area
Kendo pivotgrid currently has only row and column filters. Filters and Filter area are also important. See other pivotgrid implementations - especially DevExpress ASPxPivotgrid and Excel pivot table

The current implementation of Kendo Pivot Grid filter not satisfies the requirements of BI softwares. The current filter only is applicable on rows and columns dimension members, this is, the Kendo Pivot Grid forces dimensions members insertion to do filter. What we need is: a area to drag and drop members to set yours filters without affect members of columns and rows.

We need non-empty items (members with non-empty measures( in the filter when we open it. At least we need an option to do so.  We do not want to see all the members in the dimension attribute.

Our pivot grid widget supports filtering through its Fields Filter menu option. Click the arrow on row or column fields in this demo to utilize it:

I would appreciate if you provide more details/reference about the filter area feature supported by the Excel pivot table or DevExpress PivotGrid, to evaluate your request accordingly.
