MS Word-Like Authoring and Editing
Provide Microsoft Word-like authoring and editing in KendoUI using a familiar interface for your end users.  
Must support importing and exporting files to and from DOCX format.

Similar to the Telerik Silverligth and  WPF control RadRichTextBox.

We are currently on the way to migrate our Silverlight Apps to HTML.
In one of our apps we use http://www.telerik.com/products/silverlight/richtextbox.aspx 
and we would need a control to replace it. the kendo UI editor lacks a lot of functions.

Can we get an ETA on the replacement in HTML.

Thanks for the explanation. Our intention is not to ignore or dismiss your proposition.

We know that the feature set in our Kendo UI editor widget is smaller than that in its WPF/Silverlight equivalent. That's the reason why I proposed to submit these features you find most useful as individual requests, thus we can prioritize them depending on the interest/votes.

If you compare the KendoUI Editor with the WPC/Silverlight RadRichTextBox you will find a long list of things that would bee nice to have in the KendoUI Editor. 
In my opionion this should be a new control in the KendoUI framework. It´s also nice to have a simple editor like the kendoUI is now.
You are free to ignore this but I was only trying to give you feedback!

We offer WYSWYG html editor widget (http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/editor/index) which allows you, in a web context, to edit page content and paste from Word. 

In case you are interested in particular features for the editor widget which are not currently available, feel free to submit them as separate requests here on our feedback portal.
