Grouping the fields ignore case sensitive
I have a grid with Column Employee Name and i have Employee names as John and john. As you see the names are same but case sensitive is different. When i group the column Employee Name. The Kendo grid treats it as separate values.

Hi,

This is possible by creating an additional property by which to group on. Here is a dojo example.

Bear in mind that there is no exact criteria how the group should be formed. One may want to use lowercase, others upper and there may be custom criterias. Thus handling the case as shown above allows developers to decide by themselves how to handle the grouping.
