I believe this is similar to this idea, no? http://kendoui-feedback.telerik.com/forums/127393-telerik-kendo-ui-feedback/suggestions/2855165-allow-multiple-values-to-be-displayed-on-gauges

Most of your DataViz modules allow the ability to view multiple series of data in one graphical object. We use the Gauge to tell us how something is doing (ex: sales conversion) compared to expectations/thresholds using the ranges.

However, we would like the ability to show comparative data using the Gauge by showing one or multiple tick marks on the gauge offering comparative values such as past performance. There would be an optional label key telling what each marker represents, including the value of the marker. (Ex: Last Month 30%)

Examples of comparative data could be:

1) Past performance

The gauge needle would show the sales team's sales conversion rate for the day. The Markers would show past performance by the sales team such as conversion for month to date, for the week, and best day for the month.

2) Compared to Others

We often want to compare sales teams to other sales teams. The Gauge needle in this scenario would be a specific sales team's conversion for a time period. The markers would be the other sales teams' performance values. The team's performance manager and team agents get to see how they are doing compared to the ranges and compared to the other teams.

Agree, I would like to use the radial gauge as a KPI but to do so really requires the gauge to have a target value.
