Scheduler No Data Template
I would like to define a template or a message or something such that when there's no events the scheduler doesn't just look like a smushed collection of buttons, or having to set a min-height on the event zone or some other hack.

Thanks for your suggestion for no data template.

Is setting height/width for the scheduler applicable workaround for your scenario? I tested it on this online demo:
http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/web/scheduler/index.html

deleting all available events.
