Bar chart visual style variations - 2D, 3D, Cylindrical etc

The new funnel in the Q3 release is great, but it looks very flat.
It would be great to have a more 3D look.

3D Charting visualization is one of the biggest requests from all of our clients. HighCharts is something we are considering since Kendo UI doesn't support 3d Charting. Any idea when this will be supported?

3D charts are an increasing request from our operations team to have in our software. Other UI control options have 3D charting available. Although from the developer perspective, the difference between 2D and 3D is minimal. However if other UI controls out there have 3D visual components, it is even more important to match what they have/expect to see.

I am using the ChartView3D control in WPF.  My client asked if I can do the same thing in a web based application.

I'm converting a 20+ chart Excel spreadsheet over to a Kendo UI website. It would allow us to replicate some of the attractive 3-D charts that can be created in Excel. Would also like to see 3-D pie charts.

Hi folks,

Can you please elaborate further on what specific additional information a 3D look of the chart will bring to you? Also for which particular chart types this information will be especially useful and not available via a 2D representation?

I'm asking these questions because I want to understand what problems you currently have can be solved with such a solution. Thank you in advance for your input.

A 3D effect increases the user experience. I really encourage you to consider adding it to the widgets.

Its highly require to have the 3D View for the kendoUI chart controls, because every competitor in the market has the 3D chat and our client is also expecting the same, if its added, it will fulfill our requirement, so its a request from our end.

This would be used more as a sales feature in our product. In my personal opinion it does not really make sense to display charts in 3D format. However, some of our potential customers ask us if this is possible, and it would be nice to answer with yes.

Display vertical bar charts in following visual appearances apart from the default 2-Dimensional bars:

2D Vertical Bar Column (Default Available)
3D Vertical Bar Column
2D/3D Cylindrical Chart
2D Vertical Cone Chart
2D Vertical Pyramid Chart
