How to set the key char in kendo.templates.
Because of some scenarios the "#" chars are restriced. So I want to use other char instead of.
May be we can set the openTag and closeTag instead of "#". For example, <% and %>, [% and %] etc. May be this is flexible.

This is not supported due to internal logic restrictions and unexpected side effects/issues if allowed. 

Still if you have template with hash tag values inside it, you can escape the inner has tags as explained here:
