Disconnected computing for mobile devices
Mobile app should be able to save the data locally in the mobile device and when online network status is detected, should have the mechanism to synchronize the local data back to the server. I asked this during the webcast demo about supporting the html5 local web storage or the html5 indexeddb.

Thanks for sharing this idea, it has been conversed internally and, as a result, offline data support for the Kendo UI DataSource entered our ToDo list for future versions of the framework.

Update: This features is integrated with Q2 2014 SP1..

It seems your submission doesn't make it due to some unknown reason, Pete.

Can you please re-submit the sample (under the *Data Source* or *Grid* category of our Kendo UI Code Library) and let us know when you do that? Thanks.

I tried submitting over there, but it doesn't show up in the list. I'm assuming that it might have to be reviewed first, but it has been submitted.

I don't think file attachments are allowed here. But you can post your sample in the code library section on our site (http://www.telerik.com/support/code-library/kendo-ui), where it will be reviewed by my colleagues from Kendo UI team.

Is there a way to attach files? One file is 130 lines, and the other is 471 lines. That's a lot to paste.

Sure, feel free to share your implementation in this UV thread, Pete. We'll appreciate it and will review your logic.

If you want a head start: I needed this and already coded this for my app. I'm sure you'll want to customize and improve it, but I'm happy to give you my source code, and it might save you some time.
