Add a Timeline visualization widget for displaying events and data points on a timeline
It would be great to have a true Timeline control for showing events overtime on a scrollable axis.

Hey folks!

Updating this item as with R3 2019 we introduced the new Kendo UI Timeline component! There's a ton of functionality and customization options built in and rather than go through the entire component in this thread I'll let the demos do the talking. Head on over to the Timeline demos page for some hands-on demos and follow-up links to documentation for more information.

Why not use the specialized Timeline.js plugin?

http://timeline.knightlab.com/

It looks really nice, and it optimized precisely for displaying timelines.
