Provide support for pinch/zoom in mobile content view
A means is needed to zoom the content view area of a document while leaving the header and footer (tabstrip) stationary.

Currently Kendo UI Mobile puts meta tags in the HEAD of the document, effectively preventing zooming and pinching altogether. It would be nice if a widget or tool were made available to allow zooming of specific page elements.

I have a large map in svg that the user have to zoom in and out on. It would be familiar for the user to use the normal gesture for zooming with pinching.
I hope this wil come around :o)

This is very important, specially if we use KendoUI Web widgets in mobile. As far as KendoUI Mobile applications allows to use Web and Charts widgets in Mobile application this is a crucial need.

Depending on the screen size it can be specially important to zoom the screen. Without it can be very dificult to use Web and Charts Widgets, the application can be useless since no one can see what is on the screen

The solution is very simple, this is a matter of taking off some meta tags, and KendoUI could make it optional for the application.

jQueryMobile allows Pinch and it is very usefull.
