Can we make the tabstrip scroll-able instead of wrapping tab items to another line? Let's say I'd like to target both Ipad and iphone and the tabstrip would have 6-7 items.

Shipped in Q2 2015

This means it'll be worked on during our Q2 cycle and included in the Q2'15 release.

Does "Planned for Q2 2015" mean included in Q2 release or working on it in Q2? Thanks!

Jeremy, can you give us a reference where Google is using a scrollable tabstrip functionality, on desktop or mobile?

This is absolutely a must. The fact that Google has been doing this for several years, and Kendo still fails to do it is pitiful.

Need tab scrolling; similar to what Telerik has already implemented in

When I first look at KendoUI a couple of years ago, I saw that scrolling tabs was not supported. Now having come back to look again, I find that it still has not been implemented. This is quite concerning as of course developers require the same application look and feel across multiple form factors and having the tabs stacking, instead of scrolling forces the developer and user to do more work which the control should simply take care of.

hope this will be helpful

Actually, it should be implemented like this:

Would be great to have this feature, as tabs becomes ugly when they go on the another line.

This has been something that has been requested for a while. Can we get some feedback from Telerik on their plans to support this?
I am in the same boat where our app can have so many tabs they are stacking 5 rows high.

We need this feature added asap! How do I explain that I can find a free script that has this feature but this purchased product does not have it.

This is a must-have in my opinion. I allow customers to create as many "question groups" as they line and then as many questions as they like in each group. The UI looks messy when they have 5 or more tabs and they stack.

Just had a meeting with my boss showing my a ExtJS TabStrip and I had to explain we can't quite do that without a bunch of custom codes (which we're trying to avoid at the moment hence decided to sacrifice functionality for the moment).
Long story short, I'm triple-voting for this ;)

We want the same feature for the tabstrip,
that can manage the out-box of tabs in one line, similar to sencha:
