Crop and resize gui widget for images
At typical usecase for web applications is to let the user upload and image (portrait, avatar, picutre of real estate etc.) and then resize and crop it to a specific contrain.

An easy widget for handling the cropping and resizing might come handy for many.

There are solution for cropping and also resizing in jquery plugins already, however a successful and pretty combo of the two seems to lack a bit.

Hey folks!

As a part of R3 2020 we introduced the Kendo UI Image Editor component. This new component lets users upload images, manipulate them by resizing and cropping them, then download the image again.

Since we have various requests and ideas for the component in this thread we recommend that everyone take the new jQuery Image Editor for a spin and provide us with feedback on additional features that you may need in the component. For any follow-up we encourage submitting specific feedback items for the Image Editor (rather than following-up here) to help evolve the component!

i am waiting for this feature. it's very essential for applications. currently, I am suffering from 3rd party js cropper library and its integration to Kendo grids and other elements. 

 

most of the applications deal with Pictures, however, for design purposes, image aspect ration, size and extension conversion have to be controlled by the application.

other advanced features such as remove background and rotate image are also very good to be considered.

integration to other kendo widgets such as grid, scheduler, timeline and image display widgets, is very important also.

We are looking for this exact feature (Crop Image).  We would like a basic image library for call outs similar to what Microsoft offers.

please add image editor widget for Telerik, this is a very important feature for modern application.

SDT, this concerns a stand-alone widget/solution compared to the other entry you linked about built-in html editor image editing dialog.

Is this not similar to http://kendoui-feedback.telerik.com/forums/127393-telerik-kendo-ui-feedback/suggestions/5104986-add-image-crop-and-edit-tools-similar-to-the-asp-n? Votes should be ported across to this. Another section where the RadEditor leaves Kendo behind - when constructing content, this was extremely useful, and not easily replicated in the Editor

I would love too see this one, too bad it has so little votes so far. Image cropping is a usefull feature and in 2013 it is still very hard to find a good and usable component for this.
