Having the ability to do "in-line edits" can sometimes be helpful. Here is a link to a jquery plugin I use often. Perhaps this would be something useful for Kendo. http://www.appelsiini.net/projects/jeditable
Hi Marty,
Depending on the exact scenario, the described functionality can be achieved with Kendo UI in the following ways:
It looks like the demand for a specific InlineEdit widget is small, so I am closing this item for now. We can reopen it in the future, if applicable.

The reasons I would choose to have a Kendo version of an in-line edit is.. 1) Tight integration with the KendoUI widget set 2) One less js library to load separately 3) The ability to specify kendo widgets instead of standard html widgets 4) And all the other cool things you guys can think of. :) Those are just ideas. This is not a "must have" feature in my opinion. It is just one more little thing that can help.
Thanks for the idea. To elaborate further, what would make you use Kendo UI-powered inline edit widget as opposed to Jeditable?
