The seems to be some general usability issues with some aspect of most of the controls when used on the iPad. For instance the combo box shows the drop down twice on focus and then shows the keyboard, which then does not hide again. You cannot scroll the grid it scrolls the page, little things like this make what could be fantastic a bit frustrating.
Seeing similiar issues with the SPLITTER and other components on the iPhone. A bit disappointed as this is the very target we would be looking to deploy something with Kendo. We already have very rich tools built on Telerik's Silverlight components for IE for instance but not a valid option on the iPhone/iPad. We will need all of these components to work as expected in the browsers of those devices as well.
Hello Greg - This is great feedback to share in the official Kendo UI Forums (http://www.kendoui.com/forums). We can have more of a technical conversation there. We'll be improving the touchscreen interactions in Kendo UI during the beta, and doing even more for devices like the iPad (we'll share more on this soon). In the meantime, on iOS devices, you can use 2 fingers to scroll inner-page elements, like the Grid.
