TypeInitializationException in Telerik.Windows.Input.Touch.TouchManager with .net 9

After upgrading to .net 9 I get the following error when starting the published program (running it in RIDER in debug-mode doesn't create the issue).

System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'Telerik.Windows.Input.Touch.TouchManager' threw an exception.
---> System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Windows.Forms, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089'. Das System kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden.

the mentioned assembly System.Windows.Forms is not used by me at all.

Hello Richard,

I shared information about the preview versions when using NuGet packages in the following forum thread, that was opened regarding this scenario:

Why preview versions are not visible in https://nuget.telerik.com/v3/index.json in UI for WPF | Telerik Forums

Could you give the suggestion from it a try and let me know how it goes?

I am glad to inform you that today we released a Preview version (WPF 2024.4.1126) which includes a fix fot the issue.

Hello Jan,

Thanks for the report. We've managed reproduced this earlier today and created a feedback item, before seeing your report. I will mark this as duplicated.

We already have a fix candidate for this, which will go live with the next official release.

You can see workarounds in the duplicated item.
