Good morning Martin,

you caught my request correctly.

I saw that your programmatic API exposes the methods that make the development of these feature possible but all Telerik's users should write additional code (and probably modify the SyntaxEditor template) to do this. I think this request would be useful for everyone.

Moreover it would be great, even if I consider regex and case-sensitive search more important since you already have methods to do this, to implement another button in the search form that allow to "match whole word".

Thank you for the support!

Hello Andrea,

Thank you for your feedback. The RadSyntaxEditor partially supports the described features, but there is some room for improvement. Basically, the search and replace UI doesn't contain buttons for the case matching and regex search, but there is programmatic API for this.

If I understand your requirement properly this feature request is about adding buttons for the case matching and  regex search enablement. Can you please confirm this? Also, do you need any additional API for this functionality?
