Map: Add feature for digitizing and modifying wkt geometry

Add support for digitizing complex wkt geometries.

Include support for adding, moving and deleting vertices.

Thank you for the additional information.

After discussing this with our development team, we've come to the conclusion that such functionality will indeed be valuable. I'm thus approving this feature request and we will plan it in a future release if it accumulates enough demand.

Hi,

See eg. Google Earth 

It is a common task to add:

- Point of Interest

- Area of Interest, Areas for selection of other elements

- Running Path's

 etc.

 In the How To section of the RadMap documentation you have some simple takes on the problem.

 

It would be natural to mature those into a prof. builtin function. 

For easy database storage WKT output would be handy.

Hello Brian,

The main purpose of the RadMap control is to visualize the data which is provided to it. With this said, editing its geometries during runtime is not an expected scenario and I believe should be handled by another control or tool.

If you would, however, give an example of a similar control which achieves this requirement, we will be happy to investigate a possible solution.
