WordsProcessing: Document containing Field element with missing field separator character cannot be imported
When document contains field element without the optional separator character, the import fails.

Hi Trent,

The team is already working on resolving this so it would most likely be included in one of our next LIBs and hopefully on time for the Q1 2015 SP1 release. I suggest you follow this item and you will be notified as soon as the fix is in place.

As to removing the elements, I'm not sure I completely understand your question. "Fixing" the document at the moment of import with WordsProcessing is not possible, but you could load it in a document editor of some sort (like MS Word) and remove the field before importing it.

Can you provide a timeline as to when this will be resolved? Is there any way of removing this field element when the word doc is first created?
