Indeed at the moment the requested functionality isn't available as a built-in feature. However, it would be a valuable addition to the Kendo UI for Angular Scheduler component. This is why, I converted this ticket to be a public feature request item where other clients can vote for it:

As for creating events by clicking and dragging a slot, cast your vote for this request:

However I am not sure what you mean by "fine select or drag to create an event". Could you provide some more details about the requirement and what is the specific desired behavior. Thank you in advance. I am looking forward to your reply.
