Please, please, please! We have scrollBottom event. It works like a charm. Add the same event for loading prev page on scroll top in [Kendo UI for Angular Grid], plese.
We need to have it possible to close the active dialog by click on the overlay(backdrop).
It's very natural as for me and is supported by a lot of libraries for modals/dialogs/windows
I need to insert custom html to editor component.
I would like to add custom button which triggers popup with text area. Entered text should then be inserted where current focus is inside <code> tag.
As I see it, this can be done in 2 ways:
All information was copied from docs.
This is an issue for keyboard users because they cannot easily tab into the tooltip to close it
Hey Telerik Team,
Please consider accepting some HTML tags like <table> and its repectives <tr> <td>... My company uses templates based on that structure.
Please, we're using the latest version of Angular and therefore Kendo UI Jquery integrated with angular (which allows those tags) does not fullfil our requirements anymore. We need it asap.
Kendo Feature Request
Allow users to disabled keyboard navigation in the Dialog component.
We have a use case where there is a sliding panel in which users can open a dialog. Currently when pressing 'Esc' both our sliding panel and the modal close because they both listen to the document.keydown event. We would like to write some custom logic for this, so that we are able to handle the events in a way so it knows what to close. But we are unable to implement this since we have no way to overwrite/disable the logic in the Dialog component.
When the chart is configured to use the selection zoom. One must press the Shift-Key and select an area inside the chart to zoom.
I the chart shows tooltips, in most cases the tooltip pops up under the cursor and it is not possible to select an area.
The tooltip shoud be disabled, when the shift-key (or the configured key) is pressed inside the chart area.
In our company more than 5 projects we are using Kendo Splitter. We really need to have Animation in Splitter collapse/expand event
We face some issue with the with keyboard inputs. The current behavior is that the kendo tries to help us the dates right. For example if you have entered the 28th of February and you start to type another new date which should be the 31.12.2019 for example, after typing the first "3" the is immediately jumping to the month after hitting the first number because there is no date in February which has two digits on a day and starts with a "3". So it tries to get the dates right but the user maybe wants to replace the whole date and just want to continue writing the date.
We need a functionality that the not validate the date the way he does it right now, overtake the validation, like turn it off or anything like that?
After looking through the Editor API for Angular 7+, I noticed that there is no input to add a placeholder for the editor. This is something we had in the past (in other editors) and feel its important to still have. I understand the Editor is in Beta, but is there any plans to add an input to the EditorComponent to have a placeholder like so?
<kendo-editor ... [placeholder]="my placeholder"></kendo-editor>
Or is there already a way to do this?
We are using the Kendo UI sortable component to allow drag & drop of tabs. Currently there is no way to control the position of the dragged element in relation to the cursor (It's always on the top left corner)
It would be nice if you could add an option to configure this, so that the cursor could be in the middle/bottom of the dragged element.
See the attached image.
Thanks in advance,
We would really appreciate RTL support for our Hebrew customers for KendoDateinputs.
The current behavior is VERY confusing for users and causes them to input the wrong data for both date and time components, causing them to lose critical information.
There are situations where we need to get a list of all windows, e.g. "close all" or "rearrange". While this can easily done manually when working with a single type of window, it's difficult if we have multiple windows using multiple components (we would have to ensure that we register them all in some kind of registry).
Feature request: Add something like a WindowManager that allows us to access all windows. Perhaps their WindowRefs? Perhaps an addition to WindowContainerService?
We started using Kendo Grid extensively. We came across below requirement and confirmed with your support team that the feature is currently not available. We think this would really allow users customise their display.
We would be using a common wrapper class across the org.
We will be displaying list of records from the DB, at times, there are columns which contains a JSON, we need to use a custom template to display the JSON. I understand I can go with an if condition in the template html of grid, but, that would lead me to end up having N number of conditions since we do not have a limited such use cases, each such instance would need to be rendered with different template.
The same is the case with row editing as well, for instance, for columns which accepts a description, we want to show a custom popover which would allow the user to specify the data in the way the customer wants (rich text with lot of customisation)
At a high level if we nail down into steps of the behaviour
1) Columns definition will come as a JSON which would also contain a template reference for any of the columns.
To elaborate more, If firstName and lastName are the columns at the DB level but for grid view I want to show them as a single column.
2) The JSON we are constructing will have a type attribute which would indicate me on whether to use a user defined template or regular one.
3) Corresponding data will be a JSON with possible keys required for the template.
