Click + drag to create a new event

Hello,

we request the feature, to have the possiblity, to create a new event, by doing a slot click + dragging the mouse + release to create a new event.

Can we expect this feature or do you can suggest a workaround using existing functionality to get a similar functionality?

Hi Varun,

I am happy to announce that creating an event using the cursor is in our development plans and a release is expected in R1(Jan ~19, 2022) or R2(May ~11, 2022). An exact timeline would be discussed in our developer planning session end of January.

This basic feature is available in jQuery versions and other scheduler extensions in market . Hopefully , Kendo team will look into it .

Hello Julian,

Thank you for the feature request. The desired functionality is not currently available, but we will consider it based on the customer demand and perceived business value.
