I am afraid that this is not included in the planning of the current release. You can follow the feedback item to get notified as soon as its status changed.
We've changed the status of this item to Unplanned, which means it was approved, but not scheduled for development yet. You can follow the item for changes in its status. Also, you may notice the the title of the items is slightly changed in order to meet the standard naming convention we use in the portal.

Good morning Martin,
you caught my request correctly.
I saw that your programmatic API exposes the methods that make the development of these feature possible but all Telerik's users should write additional code (and probably modify the SyntaxEditor template) to do this. I think this request would be useful for everyone.
Moreover it would be great, even if I consider regex and case-sensitive search more important since you already have methods to do this, to implement another button in the search form that allow to "match whole word".

Thank you for your feedback. The RadSyntaxEditor partially supports the described features, but there is some room for improvement. Basically, the search and replace UI doesn't contain buttons for the case matching and regex search, but there is programmatic API for this.
If I understand your requirement properly this feature request is about adding buttons for the case matching and regex search enablement. Can you please confirm this? Also, do you need any additional API for this functionality?
