After installing the WPF software I was not able to open any project in VS 2017 without it hanging.
In the end I removed the VS integration and was able to resume development.
It was the only Telerik component I had installed. I can't find the version number but it was the latest of the website as of 17th Oct 2019.
Can you explain why this happened?
Hi Gordon,
Can you please clarify whether the steps Nikolay suggested solved your issue so that we can either close the bug report or assist you further?
Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Hi Dilyan,
Sorry maybe I wasn't clear. It's Visual Studio hanging...on starting any existing project. So if I navigate to a folder and double click on the visual studio solution file...visual studio hangs while loading the project. Obviously this doesn't allow me to see stack traces ect. All i could do was use task manager and shut down visual studio.
None of the projects I loaded use telerik components....even simple console applications would exhibit the same issue. I also rebooted the PC to see if it was something that needed a reboot...same issue.
The only way i continued was to remove the telrik Visual Studio integration...through your installer. Then Visual Studio returned to life.
Regards,
Gordon.
Hello Gordon,
Could you please provide more details on how exactly the applications "hang" - some error details, stack trace or anything else you find relevant?
I also want to inform you that we just introduced our service pack yesterday - version 2019.3.1023 - which you can download from your Telerik account. You can try using this version of the suite and check if the issues persist.
