GridView: Do not scroll control when new items are added to the top
Add a mechanism to fix the current viewport (scrollbar position) when new items are inserted. Currently, when you insert items before the viewport's start, the scrollbar position is offset.

We've created a KB article and SDK example which demonstrate how to keep the selected item's position in the viewport which is the most common requirement for this feature request. Here are links to the two new resources:

I'd really like this feature too.  To clarify, if our users select a row, we want it to stay in position on screen and not move.  Currently,  if new rows are added above the row shifts down, and this keeps going until the user selected row has scrolled out of view.

Its important the rows stays in the same place even if you are sorted by a column.

I see this was requested 4 years ago, any eta on a fix ?  Many thanks.

Hello Kok Yong Teo,

This feature is not included in our current planning. This is why we cannot bind to a timeframe for implementing it. I would suggest you to follow the item by clicking on the "Follow this item" button. This way you will be notified as soon as there is any change in the item's status.

I noticed that this feature request is approved. May I know which version will have this feature?
