PdfViewer: Japanese fonts with FontFile3 and subtype CIDFontType0C are displayed with wrong characters
For some fonts the issue is present. Some of them are:

KozGoPro-Medium

KozMinPro-Regular

KozGoPro-Bold

Fix available in R1 2019 SP1 release version.

Hi Jon,

Thank you for the additional details.

At this point, the item is not scheduled for fixing and I cannot commit to a specific timeframe when a fix might be available. As we discussed in the support ticket, we are investigating the behavior and will contact you with more information as soon as we have more details.

We are still seeing this issue with the latest version of Progress® Telerik® UI for WPF (2018.1.220). Our Japanese customers are rightfully so complaining loudly and we have no idea of when this will get corrected. Has this made it into a planned release for this year?

Below is attached an example of the problem PDF files and how they appear using (2018.1.220).
