RichTextBox: OutOfMemoryException when exporting images with Deflate compression mode
An OutOfMemoryException is thrown on export to PDF when the compression mode is set to Deflate.


Regression, introduced in R1 2017.

Workaround: Change the ImagesCompressionMode to one of the other available options to avoid using the Deflate

Hi Bernd,

I am sorry to hear that this caused you issues but I believe we addressed this behavior in our conversation in the support thread. For this particular issue, there are different approaches that might be suggested to work around it depending on the exact scenario so if you or anyone else is facing it, I would encourage you to submit a support ticket so we can discuss the case and suggest a way to move on.

Dear Development Team,

this bug cost me a lot of days to figure out the reason.
It was well working in 2016.3.1227.45 and now its not.

My customers complained our Win Application that it is not working and were asking how we are releasing it.

To make it clear: We cannot validate in our new releases that ALL Telerik function are still working.

Please change it ASAP - or we have to change the tool.
